Made from wool carefully selected from the AOP Roquefort area, this mat enhances a natural local material too often forgotten. Each fibre is sorted, washed then felted according to precise know-how that respects its integrity. Production favours responsible processes, limiting unnecessary transformations to preserve the intrinsic qualities of wool. An authentic product, made with local partners, contributing to the revival of the French wool industry.

Easy to live with: use & care without hassle
Unroll, practise, roll up: it's made to follow your sessions. Wool has a superpower: it loves to breathe and is self-cleaning. After use, let the mat air to remove moisture and eliminate odours. For dust, vacuum. For small stains, use a lightly soapy sponge, then air dry. Machine wash to be avoided.

We start from a slightly crazy fact: 90% of French wool is still thrown away for lack of outlets. Here, it becomes a useful, durable and local mat. We designed the Rug with a latex layer so that the mat is non-slip on both sides. It sticks to the ground. On the practice surface, it offers an anchor to perform gentle yoga and dynamic yoga poses. The use of wool offers a cocooning aspect. Its smell makes it easy to disconnect.
Like a wool sweater, wool can be cleaned by itself when you let it air out. In general, ventilate the Carpet as regularly as possible to make the wool breathe. Regular cleaning extends the life of the carpet. Vacuum as soon as necessary to remove dust.
Wool is a particularly light material that makes it possible to have a carpet that is both very light (1.3 kg) and comfortable for the joints (5mm). Despite its secure thickness, it is therefore much lighter than most rugs available on the market.
A thick yoga mat can cushion and relieve joints. Without removing the need for stability in practice, the Wool Rug was designed to provide support for knees and elbows. Larzac wool, from Lacaune sheep, has particular bouncy qualities, particularly recognized in the field of bedding.
Strictly speaking, we have not yet organized a recycling circuit. But wool is a natural and biodegradable material, so we are working to follow the life cycle of the Rug until its end. We will offer solutions as soon as possible.
