From the Larzac to the engraving: local production, bespoke finish
The wool comes from the AOP Roquefort area on the Larzac: local, traceable, from flocks subject to exacting specifications. It is transformed into felt in Aveyron with the Filature Colbert, then the mat receives its non-slip coating applied uniformly. The personalised engraving then signs the product, cleanly, without altering the material. And the strap? For lack of being able to produce it in France, it is made in India by an association reintegrating women victims of violence.
The perfect duo: soft and easy to care for
Your engraved mat lives in daily life: unroll, session, roll up, off you go again. The strap does it all: it serves as an exercise tool (stretches, alignments, opening) and as an easy means of transport to take it everywhere. For care, wool prefers to breathe: air after use. Dust: vacuum (soft attachment). Small stain: lightly soapy sponge, air dry away from heat. Deep clean: dry cleaning recommended. Machine wash to be avoided.

We designed the Rug with a latex layer so that the mat is non-slip on both sides. It sticks to the ground. On the practice surface, it offers an anchor to perform gentle yoga and dynamic yoga poses. The use of wool offers a cocooning aspect. Its smell makes it easy to disconnect.
Like a wool sweater, wool can be cleaned by itself when you let it air out. In general, ventilate the Carpet as regularly as possible to make the wool breathe. Regular cleaning extends the life of the carpet. Vacuum as soon as necessary to remove dust.
Wool is a particularly light material that makes it possible to have a carpet that is both very light (1.3 kg) and comfortable for the joints (5mm). Despite its secure thickness, it is therefore much lighter than most rugs available on the market.
A thick yoga mat can cushion and relieve joints. Without removing the need for stability in practice, the Wool Rug was designed to provide support for knees and elbows. Larzac wool, from Lacaune sheep, has particular bouncy qualities, particularly recognized in the field of bedding.
Strictly speaking, we have not yet organized a recycling circuit. But wool is a natural and biodegradable material, so we are working to follow the life cycle of the Rug until its end. We will offer solutions as soon as possible.
