Le confort qui invite au calme
Un tapis de méditation 100% laine : moelleux juste ce qu’il faut, stable là où il faut. La densité du feutre apporte un rebond naturel qui soulage les points d’appui (genoux, chevilles, bassin) et aide à tenir la posture sans se crisper. La laine régule la température et gère l’humidité : on reste bien, même quand la séance s’allonge. Un support simple, technique, et franchement agréable à retrouver.
Du Larzac à l’atelier : une laine locale, un vrai savoir-faire
La matière vient de l’aire AOP Roquefort, sur le Larzac : une laine locale issue de troupeaux soumis à un cahier des charges exigeant. Ensuite, transformation en Aveyron avec la Filature Colbert, pour obtenir un feutre dense, régulier, fait pour durer. Ici pas de couche antidérapante : le tapis de méditation est 100% laine, tout simplement. Une fabrication française, courte, lisible, et ça se sent dès le premier contact.
Posez-vous, respirez… et c’est (presque) tout
Le mode d’emploi est simple : vous déroulez, vous vous posez, vous respirez. La laine aime surtout… respirer elle aussi. Après usage, aérez le tapis pour évacuer l’humidité et limiter les odeurs. Poussières : aspirateur (embout doux). Petite tache : éponge légèrement savonneuse, puis séchage à l’air libre, loin d’une source de chaleur. Pour un grand nettoyage : pressing recommandé. La machine, on évite.
Un achat qui fait du bien (à vous, et au territoire)
Chaque année, une grande partie de la laine française est jetée faute de débouchés. Ici, elle devient un objet utile, beau, et durable. La laine est une matière renouvelable, qui ne dépend pas des hydrocarbures, et sa transformation s’appuie sur des savoir-faire locaux. Le tapis est fabriqué en France, ancré sur le Larzac et l’aire AOP Roquefort : moins de kilomètres, plus de cohérence. Bref : une méditation plus douce, sur un choix plus juste.

We designed the Rug with a latex layer so that the mat is non-slip on both sides. It sticks to the ground. On the practice surface, it offers an anchor to perform gentle yoga and dynamic yoga poses. The use of wool offers a cocooning aspect. Its smell makes it easy to disconnect.
Like a wool sweater, wool can be cleaned by itself when you let it air out. In general, ventilate the Carpet as regularly as possible to make the wool breathe. Regular cleaning extends the life of the carpet. Vacuum as soon as necessary to remove dust.
Wool is a particularly light material that makes it possible to have a carpet that is both very light (1.3 kg) and comfortable for the joints (5mm). Despite its secure thickness, it is therefore much lighter than most rugs available on the market.
A thick yoga mat can cushion and relieve joints. Without removing the need for stability in practice, the Wool Rug was designed to provide support for knees and elbows. Larzac wool, from Lacaune sheep, has particular bouncy qualities, particularly recognized in the field of bedding.
Strictly speaking, we have not yet organized a recycling circuit. But wool is a natural and biodegradable material, so we are working to follow the life cycle of the Rug until its end. We will offer solutions as soon as possible.
